V-NO – Winning Wine bar in Baltimore

When I’m travelling for work, I do like to explore and find a cosy wine bar. This time I was working in Baltimore’s Historic Fells Point and was lucky enough to find V-NO within walking distance of the hotel.

V-NO is a wine bar and a wine store. The store has enough of an inventory to please any wine palate, and there is a spirits room for other alcoholic libations.

V-NO has a great location on the  waterfront, with some outdoor patio seating. As it was a nice evening to sit by the water, there was a lively group on the outside patio.

As I ventured inside I met Karen who was our friendly server for the evening. I was impressed with Karen’s ability to do a multitude of tasks, and be super friendly. Karen set me up with a taste of Brose to try. This is the popular frozen rose drink that is similar to a slushee.

I could drink this on a hot summer day for sure. As I had just been to a rose seminar the night before, I decided on the Bernon Albariño from Spain with the cheese plate from the menu. There are lots of choices from the wine menu and they also serve beer.

This is a great place to stop by and have some wine and a snack, or pick up a bottle to take home. Perhaps do both!! Enjoy and let me know what you think of V-NO!
